1. Do You Offer Cake Tasting Consultations?

Nope! While we offer private design consultations by appointment, these are only available to couples who have already secured their wedding cake booking with us.

Here’s what to expect:

A 45-minute design session for up to two people
A deep dive into your style, theme, and cake vision
No tastings included in the consultation

You can purchase a Tasting Box to collect at your consult and enjoy at your own pace.

No time for a consult? No problem! You can still grab a Taster Box without booking a consultation.

2. I'M ORDERING AN OCCASION CAKE. CAN I BOOK A CONSULT?

Sorry, no! Our private one-on-one consultations are reserved exclusively for wedding clients who have secured their booking.

But don’t worry — you can still enjoy our cakes before the big day (or big party)!
We offer Cake Tasting Boxes for birthdays, special occasions, and weddings.

4. DO YOU HAVE A SHOP?

Please note: SDO operates as a commercial studio based in a private residence. As such, all consultations and cake collections are strictly by appointment only.

To discuss your cake order, please submit a quote request form via our Contact page and we’ll be in touch shortly.

Kindly note that we do not offer pre-made cakes for same-day collection — all of our cakes are made to order with care and attention to detail.

5. IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD BRING TO MY CONSULTATION?

Absolutely! Bringing inspiration helps us bring your vision to life.

Here’s what we recommend you bring along:

Inspiration photos of cake styles you love
Photos or swatches of bridesmaid dresses or your wedding gown (especially if you'd like your cake to reflect these details)
Floral references — photos and a list of flowers used in your bouquets or table arrangements if you'd like them echoed on the cake

The more details you bring, the better we can tailor your design to perfectly suit your day.
